Why We're Building Rinkly

Every great app starts with a problem that needs solving. Ours began during a regular week at the rink, watching coaches juggle phones, notebooks, and frustrated parents while trying to focus on what they do best - coaching. As skating parents ourselves, we've spent countless hours in rinks. We've seen the dedication coaches put into developing our children's skills, and we've also seen the administrative burden that takes them away from the ice. That evening, after watching our coach apologize for the fifth time while answering yet another scheduling text mid-lesson, we decided enough was enough. We pulled out a napkin (yes, literally) and started sketching what would become Rinkly.
